2024 Youth Mission Trip – Pittsburgh, PA
Students in 6th – 12th grade are invited to join PRPC Students for a week of service through Week of Hope hosted by Group Mission Trips.
The Pittsburgh area is home to many neighboring communities including New Kensington, Lower Burrell and Natrona Heights. Many people in New Kensington live below the poverty level, and struggle to make ends meet week-to-week. Some of the biggest needs include providing meals, clothing, and personal supplies for families.
The 2024 Youth Mission Trip is not a Workcamp like we’ve done in the past. The Week of Hope model engages students in service by partnering with local agencies that serve the community all year long. While the work day might look different, everything else about the mission trip experience will be familiar to the students.
